It’s a barbecue joint, yes, but we like to think of Smoke Sessions as more of a local watering hole because of the generous U-shaped bar in the middle of the room. Order a beer, then start with jalapeño pepper egg rolls, a decadent appetizer that’ll have you licking the sweet and tangy barbecue sauce right off your fingers. We’re not here to cut calories, so go next for the Sessions Burger, a drippy cheeseburger with pungent garlic peppercorn aioli.
Tip: Smoke Sessions doesn’t seem to have the lines that some other barbecue joints do, which is great news if you’re not one to wait.
