Dallas Trinity FC fell short in the Gainbridge Super League postseason on Saturday, losing 2-0 to Lexington SC on the road in the semifinals.
No. 4 seed Trinity was outplayed by No. 1 seed Lexington for much of the first half, losing the possession battle and failing to record a shot on target. The visitors fell behind 1-0 in the 40th minute on a goal from Lexington’s Sarah Griffith and trailed at halftime.
Trinity FC picked up their play in the second half and were able to generate more scoring chances, recording five shots on target to go along with five corner kicks. A 51st minute goal from Catherine Barry, however, put Lexington ahead by two. Nothing found the back of the net for Trinity FC, ending their 2025-26 season at Toyota Stadium in Georgetown, Kentucky.
The Dallas club finished its season with an overall record of 11 wins, 10 losses and seven draws.
