A “line of strong storms” moving across southeast Texas brought heavy rainfall, causing severe flash flooding on Saturday, May 23.
Storm chaser Jaime Garcia captured the flooding in Alvin, where roads and low-lying locations were inundated with rainwater. The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a flash flood warning for the area.
