If storms do happen to brew today, residents can expect that to happen around 4 p.m. to about 8 p.m.
Be prepared for heavy downpours of rain, lightning, and maybe even hail, the NWS warns. So, if you have plans outdoors this Sunday (like me), be sure to look out for any storm clouds within the vicinity.
Come Tuesday, May 26, another low-pressure system is expected to move across South Central Texas. This will position San Antonio and the surrounding areas for its highest chance of showers and thunderstorms at around 40 percent after 1 p.m. According to the NWS, those figures of precipitation increase to 90 percent by later that evening.
On Wednesday, May 27, San Antonians can expect another batch of showers and a possible thunderstorm before that same 1 p.m. timeframe. Chances of precipitation currently sit at 80 percent.
