2M Smokehouse is celebrating its 10th year in business after opening in 2016 under the guidance of pitmaster Esaul Ramos. The Southeast Side barbecue joint has received Michelin honors and been included in Texas Monthly’s Top 50 BBQ Joints list. Yelp ranked it No. 38 among the nation’s barbecue joints and No. 4 in Texas.

Curry Boys BBQ first opened in 2020 as the joint creation of Andrew Ho, Andrew Samia and Sean Wen. Since then, they’ve gained a loyal following, written a cookbook, and opened three restaurants on St. Mary’s Street, in Stone Oak, and out of state in Nashville. Yelp ranked the St. Mary’s outpost as the No. 57 best barbecue joint in the nation.
