Police: Teenager shot multiple times in Universal City, suspect at large

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The Universal City Police Department is investigating a shooting early Monday morning that put a teenager in the hospital.

Police were called to a coffee shop called On The Grind around 6 a.m., and upon arrival they learned a teenager had been shot multiple times. Investigators say the victim had met up with a girl before the two went to an apartment complex on Villa Drive. After arriving, police say the boy was robbed and shot at least three times.

According to UCPD, the victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, but the suspect is nowhere to be found.

The staff at the coffee shop helped the boy before police were called, and no other details are available.
