Banana Ball fans will have a chance to meet players, take photos and get autographs ahead of Thursday’s game.
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Banana Ball fans in Corpus Christi will have a chance to meet players from the Texas Tailgaters and Firefighters ahead of Thursday’s sold-out game at Whataburger Field.
Academy Sports + Outdoors is teaming up with both teams for a special meet-and-greet event where fans can take photos, get autographs and gear up before the big matchup.
The event will take place Wednesday, May 27, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Academy Sports + Outdoors located at at 5001 South Padre Island Drive in Corpus Christi.
The Texas Tailgaters and Firefighters are part of the popular Banana Ball experience known for its fan interaction, entertainment and unique style of baseball.
