LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The West Texas State Veterans Cemetery will open for burial services beginning Monday, according to a social media post from the cemetery.
Burials will be scheduled Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cemetery’s main office will be open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and visitation will be available daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., the post said.
Cemetery staff asked visitors to be respectful of interment services in progress. For questions, the cemetery listed phone numbers (806) 392-9927 and (806) 392-9928, and said pre-registration is available online.
The cemetery also noted that an official dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place later this year, with details to be announced.
