Flour Bluff students soar to new heights with first student-built plane

History took flight in Flour Bluff as students launched the district’s first-ever student-built aircraft through the high school aviation program.

For the first time in district history, an aircraft built by students in the high school’s aviation program successfully took flight over Flour Bluff — a milestone years in the making and a moment students, teachers and families won’t soon forget.
