LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Kevin Pounds will be the next representative for southeast Lubbock County on the Commissioner’s Court.
Pounds defeated M. Trey Newton, drawing about 60 percent of the runoff vote Tuesday. No Democrat ran in that party’s primary in March.
Jason Corley is the current Precinct 2 commissioner.
