An evening of food, conversation and community capped off the Women in Business Summit
Following the success of the 24th Annual Local Profile Women in Business Summit on Sept. 12, Local Profile hosted an exclusive evening celebration on Oct. 29, 2025, at Tande Thai in The Colony’s vibrant Grandscape district, bringing leaders back together to toast the summit’s achievements and unveil the magazine’s newest issue.
The event served as both a finale and a celebration of connection, bringing together attendees from across North Texas for an evening of lively conversation, exceptional food and drink and a first look at Local Profile’s newest issue. The space buzzed with energy as local leaders, entrepreneurs and tastemakers mingled and flipped through the magazine.Â

Guests were treated to a menu that showcased Tande Thai’s signature creativity, flavorful small plates like mini shrimp cakes and golden fried tofu glazed with a sweet and spicy sauce, and other colorful bites that reflected the restaurant’s modern take on traditional Thai flavors.
The evening’s offerings extended beyond the plate with a tasting of Murmur Rum, the striking pink spirit created by Shammah Joy, founder of Luxury Distilled Beverages. Infused with coconut water for its distinctive color and silky texture, Murmur was featured in a refreshing tropical punch that perfectly complemented the night’s atmosphere.

As conversations flowed, guests flipped through the pages of Local Profile’s latest issue, pointing out familiar faces, celebrating local standouts and sharing stories of collaboration and success.Â
With its blend of exceptional cuisine, meaningful connection and North Texas’ finest, the event was the perfect finale to a summit dedicated to empowering women and celebrating the region’s most inspiring voices.
