CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Fire crews responded Monday afternoon to a report of a food truck fire in the parking lot of the Corpus Christi Trade Center.

According to CCFD Asst. Fire Chief Tony Perez, crews responded to a fire at the “Elotes El Regio” food truck. When firefighters arrived, they found the blaze already burning but were able to extinguish it quickly before it spread to nearby vehicles or structures.

No injuries were reported, and the scene was cleared without incident.

Video of the fire circulated on social media, showing flames and what appeared to be a small explosion before firefighters arrived.

A fire investigator was called to determine what caused the blaze.
