LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – A suspect is in custody after a multi-agency police chase Wednesday morning.
Lubbock police identified the suspect as 38-year-old Jerry Marquez.
Around 9 a.m., police say members of its crime suppression unit attempted a traffic stop in the 1900 block of Clovis Rd. The pursuit continued with multiple attempts to stop Marquez.
The Lubbock Sheriff’s Office and DPS assisted. The pursuit ended when Marquez crashed near Highway 62/82 and CR 3000.
Law enforcement arrested Marquez on scene.
