EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — El Paso’s historic A.B. Fall Mansion has a new owner after the City Council voted to sell the property during its meeting on Tuesday.

City leaders agreed to sell the mansion to Investor Edge Limited Company for a little more than $840,000.

The mansion was first built in 1907 by Albert Fall, one of New Mexico’s first senators.

The city took over the property in 2006 due to neglect by the previous owner.

About $1.2 million was put into renovations, and the mansion was used for office space up until 2021.

The city’s Central Appraisal District has valued the mansion at about $1.6 million.

City records indicated in 2025 that El Paso has spent approximately $2.3 million on the mansion, with $1.3 million allocated to construction, $120,000 for architecture and design, and $45,000 each for testing and inspections. In 2024, $100,000 was spent on roof repairs alone.

Texas Tech last occupied the mansion until 2021.
