Two people were injured after a helicopter crashed outside of Fort Worth Tuesday morning, officials said.

Denton County Emergency Services were dispatched to the 16000 Block of Victory Circle W, which is about 39 miles northwest of Dallas, at about 9 a.m., according to a Facebook post.

The helicopter, identified as a a Robinson R66, was damaged during a “hard landing” at Bell Training Facility, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

First responders transported the two people on board, both injured, to a local hospital.

The cause of the crash is unknown and further information was not available.
