ESPN’s College Gameday announced that they will be on site in Lubbock for BYU-Texas Tech on November 8.
College Gameday begins at 9am ET and runs for three hours on ESPN. BYU was last in the College Gameday matchup in 2020 when they lost to Coastal Carolina on the teal turf. BYU is 0-3 all-time in games featured on Gameday.

BYU is 8-0 currently ranked #10 in the AP Poll but will likely move up when the new poll is released Sunday. The Red Raiders are 8-1 and #13 in the AP Poll after a road win at Kansas State. Their lone setback was a 26-22 road loss at Arizona State without starting QB Behren Morton. The first College Football Playoff poll will be released next week ahead of the game and teams could be in the top 10 of the first poll.
BYU-Texas Tech kickoff at 11am CT on either ABC or ESPN. After Texas Tech’s win ABC seems like the more likely option.
