
HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Traffic was snarled on the eastbound Katy Freeway on Friday afternoon after a crash involving multiple vehicles shut down at least three lanes.
According to Houston TranStar, five vehicles were involved in the crash. TranStar also showed two center lanes, the right lane, and the shoulder closed.

Images captured by a member of the Eyewitness News team showed the airbags deployed and the front end of a sedan mangled as crews worked the scene.
