CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A stabbing incident in Corpus Christi has left one man dead and another injured, according to police.
On May 29, 2026, at 1:41 a.m., Corpus Christi Police Officers responded to a stabbing on the 4600 block of Everhart Rd. Upon arrival, officers discovered that two males had been stabbed and transported to a local hospital. One of the victims later succumbed to his injuries, according to a press release from the Corpus Christi Police Department.
Detectives from the Robbery/Homicide unit were called to assist with the investigation. Preliminary findings suggest that a disturbance at a nearby establishment led to a second altercation in a parking lot, during which the stabbings occurred. Several individuals have been detained for questioning, and it is believed that the parties involved were acquainted with each other, stated the source.
The investigation remains active, with detectives pursuing leads. No arrests have been made at this time.
