EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14) — MVPW-03: Han vs Holm 2 and Serrano vs Hanson is officially the hottest ticket ever at the El Paso County Coliseum.

Most Valuable Promotions announced Saturday morning that the sold out event has generated the highest gate for a combat sports event in the history of the El Paso County Coliseum. MVPW-03 is headlined by El Paso native Stephanie Han taking on former boxing and UFC champion Holly Holm for the WBA Lightweight World Title.

The Coliseum has a rich boxing history. In 1971 it hosted George Foreman’s knockout victory over Vic Scott. Hall of Famers Salvador Sanchez and Erik Morales have fought there. In more recent years it has been the setting for legendary fighter Floyd Mayweather Jr. in his career and in the same year Sugar Shane Mosley’s IBF Title Defense.

The prelims for MVPW-03 kicks of at 3 pm MST on ESPN+. Then at 7pm live on ESPN, the main card featuring four championship fights begins. Lourdes Juarez and Yokasta Valle will kick off the main card, fighting for the WBC Jr. Flyweight World Championship. Then, Desley Robinson faces Mary Spencer for the Unified Middleweight Title. In the double main event, seven-weight division world champion Amanda Serrano looks to defend her Unified Featherweight Title against Cheyenne Hanson. Han vs Holm 2 will close down the evening.
