It’s been one year since Burnt Bean Co. in Seguin was named Texas Monthly’s No. 1 barbecue joint, a huge accomplishment for pitmaster Ernest Servantes and his six-year-old smokehouse. However, anyone wanting to try Texas’ No. 1 barbecue joint can find themselves waiting more than three hours for food if they don’t arrive at the crack of dawn. Luckily, fans now have a new option to secure award-winning barbecue.
Burnt Bean Co. announced on Wednesday, May 27, that it has partnered with Goldbelly and now ships barbecue nationwide. The brand now joins the likes of Franklin Barbecue, Snow’s BBQ, Terry Black’s and more Texas brands who use Goldbelly to ship their smoked meats across the country.
“From Seguin, Texas to your front door you can now enjoy our brisket, ribs, sausage, sides and even our barbacoa all the flavors that built The Bean anywhere in the country,” a Facebook announcement reads.
If you can’t choose or don’t want to choose, Goldbelly also offers The Burnt Bean Co. “Texas Trinity” Sampler, offering 4-5 pounds of unsliced Prime Texas Brisket, one 12-pound whole rack of Signature Pork Spare Ribs, and four Post Oak Smoked Beef Sausage Links. In total, the $319.95 package can serve 15 to 18 people.
“This is a huge moment for our team and we couldn’t have done it without all of your love and support through the years,” the Facebook post added. “Texas barbecue is headed nationwide… and we’re just getting started. We are ready to feed this country some Burnt Bean BBQ!!”
