UTA campus facilities adjust hours for the summer semester

Here are the adjusted hours of operation of various UTA facilities during the summer 2026 semester.

The Commons and University Center

Both The Commons and University Center will be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday. The west side of the university center, which includes the Plaza food court, Intercultural Student Engagement Center and Palo Duro Lounge will be closed over the summer as the center undergoes demolition and construction.

Central Library

The Central Library will be open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Maverick Dining

Connection Café will be open from 7 to 9 a.m., 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, the cafe will be open from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and again 5 to 8:30 p.m.

Transportation Services

All MavMover scheduled routes will not be in service during the summer semester, according to TripShot.

The Via On-Demand service is available 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. Monday through Friday and 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. Saturday through Sunday.

Health Services

Health Services will be available only by appointments from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The pharmacy will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and closed one hour for lunch.

Maverick Activities Center

The center will begin summer hours on June 1. The building will be open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 2 to 10 p.m. on Sunday. The center will be closed on Saturday.
