Blonde Roasters in The Old Smithy Shop on North Street in Houston will welcome its first customers on Saturday, November 1.
The Old Smithy Shop was formerly operated by the the Curly Coffee Company which ceased operations after five years back in August.
The new establishment is being launched by Rebecca and Amy “two Northern Irish girls living in Scotland” who say they are ready to bring good coffee and laughs to the village.
In a social media post, the pair said: “We are so excited to embark on this journey of serving the community great coffee, great food and great vibes.
“While some things are getting a fresh twist you can still expect the same friendly service, delicious drinks and comfy atmosphere.”
