As Saturday evening progresses, the winds have lightened, leading to a cool night. Most areas are not anticipated to see extreme temperature drops.
However, communities off to the east-southeast, including Spur, Guthrie, and Aspermont, are forecast to experience stronger radiational cooling, potentially lowering temperatures by 2 to 4 degrees below model predictions. South-southwest breezes are expected to develop after midnight as the ridge exits the Caprock.
