EA Sports College Football 27 announced its cover athletes for both the standard and deluxe versions of the title on Tuesday, and the star linebacker from Duncanville is among the faces immortalized on this year’s game.
Ole Miss running back Kewan Lacy, Miami wide receiver Malachi Toney and Oregon quarterback Dante Moore are the featured players on the standard version this season, while Simmons, Indiana head coach Curt Cignetti, USC quarterback Jayden Maiava and Notre Dame cornerback Leonard Moore also collectively grace the deluxe edition alongside them.
Simmons becomes the second Longhorns player to land cover honors since the game’s return to prominence in 2024.
EA Sports rebooted its college football franchise two years ago after an 11-year hiatus, and College Football 25 became one of the best-selling sports video games in U.S. history. Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers, Colorado two-way star Travis Hunter and Michigan running back Donovan Edwards were on the cover that year.
EA Sports College Football 27 is scheduled to release worldwide on July 9.
