(KBTX) – Former Texas A&M shortstop Jack Bell is back in the Maroon and White after announcing his commitment via the transfer portal.
Bell played at A&M his freshman season before transferring to TCU in 2025, where he played the past two seasons.
This past season with the Horned Frogs, Bell hit .303 with 47 hits and 39 runs, including 6 home runs and 27 RBI. Across two seasons, he played in 105 games and made 86 starts. He made the Big 12 All-Tournament Team as a sophomore in 2025.
In his freshman season in Aggieland, Bell played in 19 games and made three starts. He hit .250 with a .500 slugging percentage and .500 on-base percentage. He had 4 hits and 4 RBI as an Aggie.
Bell is Texas A&M’s first commitment out of the transfer portal, which opened on Monday.
