18-wheeler collision in North Richland Hills leaves 2 women dead.

The two women were riding in a sedan in the eastbound lanes of the Loop 820 expressway near Holiday Lane, North Richland Hills police said in a news release.

Their sedan collided with an 18-wheeler on the expressway around 12:30 p.m., police said.

A 72-year-old woman and a 53-year-old woman were extracted from the sedan and pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The women have not been identified by officials.

Police said no charges are expected to be filed.
