The expansion brings fresh energy, modern offices and new opportunities to the city’s thriving tech community
1Finity Americas, Inc., formerly known as Fujitsu Network Communications, is growing its North American operations with a major consolidation of its Dallas and Richardson offices into a new headquarters at Galatyn Commons Office Park. The move marks a renewed investment in the city’s thriving technology corridor and signals continued job growth in the region.
A Strategic Relocation
The company, a subsidiary of Fujitsu Limited, will occupy a 65,000-square-foot space at 2380 Performance Drive under a 12-year lease agreement. The relocation represents a $13 million capital investment in tenant improvements and includes a commitment to retain and create at least 500 full-time jobs.
“As a major hub for technology innovation, Richardson is the ideal setting for our new North American headquarters,” said Rod Naphan, CRO of 1Finity, Inc. and CEO of 1Finity Americas, Inc, in a statement released by Richardson Today. “This move reflects our commitment to deliver ‘Networks Without Limits’ while investing in the community that has supported our growth for decades.”
The city of Richardson pledged a $2.3 million business retention and expansion grant, along with an estimated $130,000 in waived permit fees, to support the project. The incentives will be distributed over two years as job and occupancy milestones are met.
A Legacy Of Partnership
Fujitsu’s roots in Richardson date back to the 1990s, when it established an 845,000-square-foot campus that helped shape the city’s identity as a telecommunications hub. The company further solidified its presence in 2008 by relocating its North American headquarters to Richardson, anchoring what would become a dense cluster of tech firms and research organizations.
“Fujitsu has long been a cornerstone of both economic development and community leadership in Richardson,” said Richardson City Manager Don Magner. “We’re proud that Richardson was chosen as the site for 1Finity’s North American operations. This continued partnership builds on a legacy that has helped shape Richardson into one of the region’s leading hubs for research and development.”
In 2024, Fujitsu was honored with the City’s Economic Development Growth and Entrepreneurship (EDGE) Legacy Award — the highest recognition presented in partnership with the Richardson Chamber of Commerce — for its longstanding impact on the local economy.
Galatyn Commons: A Hub For Growth
The new headquarters joins a growing list of corporate tenants at Galatyn Commons, a Class A office campus known for its blend of business amenities and proximity to transportation. Located near the intersection of U.S. Highway 75 and State Highway 190, the site offers direct access to the Galatyn Park DART station, the Renaissance Dallas Richardson Hotel and the Eisemann Center for Performing Arts.
The campus includes renovated lobbies, collaboration areas, cafés and lounges, along with a 10,000-square-foot fitness and wellness center. Tenants can also access a multi-station food hall, outdoor amphitheater, fire pits, bocce courts and extensive green spaces.
Recent tenants include Halff, which announced a $10.8 million relocation to the complex in 2024, and CBRE Group, which opened a 131,000-square-foot office there in 2022.
