(KWTX) – Heavy rainfall has made for hazardous road conditions across Central Texas.
The Marlin Police Department shared on Facebook that Business 6 is flooded in both directions under the railroad tracks.
The Salado Police Department shared on their Facebook the one lane bridge on Southridge Drive, two lane bridge on Chisholm Trail, and low water crossing of De Grumman and Chaparral, and Chisholm Trail near Elizabeth Circle are all closed due to high water.
KWTX has learned of reports from Falls County Sheriff Jason Campbell that there was one person trapped in their car due to flooding. Also, four people are trapped in their vehicle in Marlin near County Road 362 and Highway 53.
A Facebook post from TxDOT lists numerous roadways in Falls County are experiencing water of the roads: SH 320, SH 6, SH 7, FM 413.
