The Texas Game Wardens say that additional personnel are staged and ready to deploy near crucial areas.

Officials ask residents to follow local safety directives, not drive around barricades, and avoid unnecessary travel in flooded areas.

“Never drive or walk through floodwater,” the Texas Game Wardens said on social media. “It can hide washed-out roads, debris and other hazards, and is often deeper and moving faster than it appears.”
