Like clockwork, Ohio State remains at the top of this week’s AP Top 25. The Buckeyes defeated the James Franklin- and Drew Allar-less Penn State team, winning 38-14. The rest of the No. 2–7 spots also remained unchanged from Week 10.

No. 3 Texas A&M and No. 4 Alabama were both on byes this past weekend. Georgia narrowly escaped Florida 24-20 thanks to a key fourth-down stop in the fourth quarter. No. 6 Oregon also comes into Week 11 off a bye. Seventh-ranked Ole Miss took care of business at home, defeating South Carolina 30-14.

Week 10’s Nos. 8, 9 and T-10 all lost on Saturday. Georgia Tech was stunned by NC State 48-36, suffering its first loss of the season. No. 9 Vanderbilt went down to the heart of Texas and was sent home with a 34-21 loss after being unable to complete the comeback.

Finally, then-No. T-10 Miami was upset for the second time in three games, falling in overtime to SMU 26-20 after Carson Beck threw an interception at the goal line.

Those teams’ losses are others’ gain. BYU benefited from the Top 10 upsets, rising to No. 8 in the polls despite being idle. Texas Tech is also back in the Top 10 at No. 9. After a close first half, the Red Raiders pulled away from Kansas State 43-20 and have a big matchup next week against BYU.

Notre Dame rounds out the Top 10 for the first time since Week 3 this season. The Irish beat Boston College 25-10 behind Jeremiyah Love’s 166 total yards and two touchdowns.
