While the video doesn’t give any names, the 18-second video has some hints that point to Grapevine native Post Malone.

One such hint could be the Dak Prescott bobblehead on the truck dashboard, a potential reference to Malone’s hit song “Wow.’ where he raps ”Last call, Hail Mary, Prescott touchdown.”

The country imagery with a large truck barreling down the highway and the cowboy boots stepping out of it can also be interpreted as a nod to Malone’s recent venture into country music with his 2024 studio album F-1 Trillion.

However, perhaps the most convincing evidence for Malone being the halftime show performer is the appearance of Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey in the video. Malone has shown his support for Aubrey before, going to a Thursday night game against the Giants last year wearing the kicker’s jersey. He even got Aubrey to sign his No. 17 jersey on that occasion.

While the Cowboys have yet to officially announce who will kick off the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign, it seems the signs are pointing to the Cowboys fan from Grapevine for 2025.
