AUSTIN (KXAN) – A signature Austin fundraiser blending art and advocacy returns this weekend, as Art Bra Austin 2026 takes the stage at the Fairmont Austin.
The event, themed “Radiance Reclaimed,” features wearable art pieces created by designers, artists and jewelers. The one-of-a-kind creations are modeled on the runway by breast cancer survivors.
Organizers say this year’s theme emphasizes sustainability, with many pieces incorporating recycled and repurposed materials while celebrating identity and resilience.
Beyond the runway show, the evening will include interactive elements such as silent and live auctions, games and opportunities for attendees to win prizes, including a featured getaway. The event will also include a male breast cancer survivor on the runway, aiming to raise awareness that the disease can affect men.
Art Bra Austin benefits the Breast Cancer Resource Center, a Central Texas nonprofit that provides free services to individuals and families affected by breast cancer. Those services include patient navigation, financial assistance, educational programs and support groups.
In 2025, the organization served more than 3,000 family members, with many clients living below 300% of the federal poverty level.
Event organizers say funds raised help ensure access to care and support regardless of income or background in Central Texas.
