Financial technology company MoneyLion published on Monday, June 1, its roundup of the wealthiest suburbs in America, a list recapping the premier destinations for the country’s rich and elite looking for more space and lavish properties near some of the country’s biggest cities. Among the Top 50 bougiest suburban communities, Texas laid claim to five of them — including three with Top 10 finishes.

Second only to Scarsdale, New York, outside of New York City was West University Place, a highly affluent Texas suburb nestled in the Houston, The Woodlands and Sugar Land metro area. The typical home value in West University Place, as of April, registered at more than $1.7 million, while the average household income in 2024 rang in at a staggering $439,594.

A little further down at No. 6, University Park brought the North Texas energy as a suburb in the Dallas, Fort Worth and Arlington metro region. Its typical home value in April clocked in at just shy of $2.6 million, while the average household income in 2024 came with a sticker price of $407,253. Not to be alone at the Dallas-centric party, Southlake joined in as the eighth wealthiest suburb in America, with its April home value registered at $1.3 million, coupled with an average household income of $384,530 back in 2024.

Texas’ three-piece representation sandwiched its way into a Top 10 largely comprising coastal communities:

Other Texas appearances in the report included the greater Houston area’s Bellaire at No. 18 and the Dallas-Fort Worth suburb of Colleyville, cinching a No. 46 rank.
