CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Corpus Christi-Nueces County Public Health District has updated its mosquito spraying operations after weather conditions affected scheduled treatments and has released its spraying schedule for the week ahead.

Health officials said mosquito control crews will continue spraying throughout Corpus Christi during evening and overnight hours, weather permitting, as part of ongoing efforts to reduce mosquito populations and help protect public health.
For Friday, June 5, crews are scheduled to spray Routes 15, 26, and 27, along with portions of Routes 19 and 25.
The district also announced the following spraying schedule for next week:
Officials said spraying may be delayed or rescheduled if rain, strong winds or other weather conditions make treatment ineffective.
