Best-of-7 series: Knicks lead 2-0 after winning both games on the road
With a 105-104 victory in Game 2 in San Antonio Friday after a 105-95 win in Game 1, the Knicks have now won 13 consecutive playoff games, the second-longest win streak in NBA history. The Golden State Warriors won an NBA record 15 straight games to claim the 2017 NBA title. G Mikal Bridges and G Jalen Brunson each posted 20 points and 6 assists, while Bridges had 6 boards, and Brunson had 5 rebounds while adding 5 steals.
Spurs C Victor Wembanyama did his best to will his team to victory, posting a game-high 29 points with 9 rebounds, 4 blocks, 2 assists and 2 steals across 40 minutes.
In the 13-game win streak, New York has won by an average of 21.0 points per game (PPG), the best margin of victory in NBA postseason history. The Knicks have shot 40.2% as a team on 440 3-pointer attempts in the 13-game win streak, becoming just the third team in NBA history to hit 40.2% or better on 3-pointers in any 13-game playoff span.
New York Knicks F Karl-Anthony Towns has managed 6.2 assists per game (APG) in the 13-game win streak, and at no point in the regular season or playoffs, has he done that before.

Spurs at Knicks picks and predictionsPrediction
Spurs 112, Knicks 108
The SPURS (+110) are worth a look in Game 3 on the road in a must-have outing.
It’s hard to go against the Knicks, who have the amazing 13-game win streak. It’s historic. But, San Antonio took down the defending NBA champs, and this series is anything but over if the Spurs find a way.
Backing San Antonio +2.5 (-115) makes very little sense. You’re either all-in, or you’re out. While Game 2 was a 1-point game, it’s unlikely that the Spurs cover, but also lose the game.
If you like San Antonio, go straight up for the better value.
PASS.
OVER 216.5 (-105) is the lean, but go with a half-unit play at most.
The Over is 3-2 in the past 5 home playoff games for the Knicks, while the Over has a 7-5 edge across the past 12 outings.
For the Spurs, while the Under is 2-0 in the first 2 games of this series, with just 99.5 PPG scored, the Over has hit in 7 straight playoff road outings.
