The Longhorns jumped from No. 20 to No. 13 in the updated AP Top-25 released Sunday afternoon. In the new Coaches Poll, Texas rose from No. 19 to No. 13.

Following Saturday’s 34-31 win over the Commodores, coach Steve Sarkisian‘s team is now riding a four-game winning streak. It looked as though the Longhorns might run Vanderbilt, ranked ninth coming into the game, out of the building, but a 21-0 Vanderbilt spurt in the fourth quarter made things scary for Texas fans.

Vanderbilt dropped to No. 15 in the AP Poll and No. 16 in the Coaches Poll after its loss.

The Longhorns now enter their second open week. When they return, they’ll visit Georgia, which ranks fifth in the AP Poll after beating Florida. Home games with Arkansas and No. 3 Texas A&M will follow that.

Here’s a full look at the polls.
