Loop 375 area shut down as El Paso police respond to person with a weapon

El Paso police are responding to reports of “subject with a weapon” on Monday morning.

According to the El Paso Police Department, officers are in the area of Purple Heart/ Liberty, after a call came in at around 10:43 a.m. regarding a person with a weapon.

EPPD stated the area around Liberty and exit 31 is shut down.
