Conditions stay hot and dry Tuesday as the ridge remains the dominant weather feature. Lows Monday night will be similar to Monday morning — in the mid-60s to low-70s.

Late Tuesday, some thunderstorm development will be possible, mainly over the northern South/Rolling Plains. Any storms that form could become severe, but the overall threat is still low.
