There are quite a few celebrities who root for the Spurs. However, one of the most unexpected ones is a fan-favorite alumnus of Love Island USA Season 7 — and a Finals game may be his dream date.
Jeremiah Brown, who competed on last year’s season and was behind some of the show’s most viral moments and crashouts, has been posting his support for the Spurs throughout the playoffs, especially against the Oklahoma City Thunder and the New York Knicks.
Ahead of Game 3, the 26-year-old posted a TikTok hitting some burpees with the caption “me getting ready to defend myself if the Spurs lose again.”
Much like the rest of us, he called the experience of watching Game 2’s heartbreaking one-point loss the “crash out of the century.” Still, he predicts the Spurs will win in six or seven games, and in response to a commenter who said the Knicks are headed for a sweep, Brown wrote, “and then you woke up.” He’s so confident that a sweep won’t happen that in another TikTok, he wagered shaving his eyebrows off.
And since he’s boldly been sporting a #10 Jeremy Sochan Spurs jersey in the Big Apple (which he described in another post as going “behind enemy lines”), it’s safe to say his loyalty isn’t just in the early days.
Still, it’s unclear exactly where that comes from, as Brown is not a San Antonian or even a Texan, for that matter. According to Famous Birthdays, he grew up in Seattle, Washington, before moving to Los Angeles. However, he did visit the Alamo City last summer, fresh out of the villa, to make a guest appearance at nightclub 1902. The ticketed event in July 2025 was successful, coming on the heels of Brown’s shocking elimination from the Fijian island where the show is filmed. After the fact, Brown thanked the city on Instagram, writing, “I know I keep saying I never would’ve thought, but truly I never would’ve thought this would be my reality. Appreciate the love always.”
He’s not the only Love Island star to show some support for the Spurs, though. Back in November, Season 7 darlings Nicolas Vansteenberghe and girlfriend Olandria Carthen (a Houstonian) attended a Spurs game, wore jerseys, and made it on the jumbotron.
So, will we see Brown coupling up with the Coyote and sitting courtside for a Game 5 in San Antonio? The Spurs will have to stay alive on their road trip to New York, but it seems like Brown would be a possible sighting on celebrity row.
