In honor of the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, Corpus Christi, St. Kateri Parish in Irondequoit presented an outdoor eucharistic procession following the 11 a.m. Mass at Christ the King Church June 7. Participants processed around the church, stopping at three altars on the church grounds. Members of the Knights of Columbus carried statues of Mary and the parish’s patron saint, St. Kateri Tekakwitha. St. Kateri Parish was one of the many parishes in the Diocese of Rochester to celebrate Corpus Christi with processions.
