Dry, hot Tuesday in store for D-FW. Here’s when rain returns

High temperatures are expected to top out at 94 degrees, with the heat index reaching as high as 100, according to the National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office. Winds between 5 and 10 mph are forecast throughout to day with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Nighttime conditions are expected to be mostly clear with lows in the high 70s, according to the weather service.

Rain chances will increase Thursday night and are expected to remain between 20% and 50% heading into next week.
