The WNBA announced in a statement that the All-Star voting period will begin Thursday afternoon, with fans required to enroll in WNBA ID, the league’s free global membership program, to cast ballots. This year’s All-Star Game will be held at the United Center in Chicago on July 25 and broadcast on ABC.
Votes may be cast on WNBA.com and the WNBA app, with any player currently on a WNBA team roster eligible to be nominated. Stretching until June 27, fans can submit a ballot on each day of the 17-day voting period — there will also be three “2-for-1 Days,” on June 12, June 17 and June 24, where fan votes will be counted twice.
Fans account for 50% of the vote in determining the WNBA All-Star Game starting lineups, which include four backcourt and six frontcourt players, while players and media members are each allotted 25% of the vote. Meanwhile, the 12 reserve players will be nominated by WNBA coaches.
Bueckers was voted to the 2025 All-Star Game as a rookie, leading all starters with eight assists to offset a poor shooting night. The young point guard was one of four former UConn stars to compete in last year’s exhibition, including Gabby Williams, Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier, who was named as an All-Star Game captain.
