According to Mark Lee Wolf, a content creator from Boerne and a self-described “Bravoholic” with more than 14,000 TikTok followers, locals and people claiming to have insider knowledge are sharing rumors about possible cast shakeups, filming dates and production issues that could impact the show.
MySA has reached out to Wheelhouse, an entertainment and production company that appears to be behind the new series. Representatives have not returned a request for comment.
“It’s been a busy week in my DMs,” Wolf said in a June 6 TikTok video.
Wolf, who has been posting weekly videos about the new series since its announcement, said filming was set to begin June 8 and run through August. MySA has not independently confirmed whether production has started, though a video that appearing to show cast members filming in downtown Boerne began circulating online late Tuesday, June 9, seemingly verifying reports.
Chris Shadrock, Boerne’s communications director, shared that a production company recently contacted staff regarding potential filming activities, but a city film permit was not required, based on the information they provided.
An organizer for the city’s popular Das Festival of Kendall event told MySA the festival rejected a request to film scenes for the Bravo show at the event.
Wolf also shared another unconfirmed claim involving a rumored cast member’s homeowners association. According to Wolf, someone claiming to be close to a potential cast member alleged that the woman’s HOA sent out a letter saying it would not cooperate with production.
Boerne City Manager Ben Thatcher previously said publicly that much of the show would be filmed inside private residences. It remains unclear whether an HOA could prevent production from filming inside a cast member’s home.
Wolf also floated a rumor that one possible cast member may have already dropped out because of an issue involving her child’s school.
“[Be]cause the school that her children attended, were not happy that she was gonna be in a Bravo reality show,” Wolf said in the video.
Wolf, who did not immediately respond to MySA’s request for comment, stressed that the claims remain unverified.
MySA also received photos of what appears to be production of the show in Boerne.
