The heat index, or “feels-like” temperature, is forecast to reach as high as 101. However, the weather service is also predicting a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms. These chances climb in the evening, with thunderstorms and showers forecasted after 7 p.m.
Rain and thunderstorms are not expected to impact the World Cup game, as The Dallas Morning News previously reported that FIFA has plans in place to close Dallas Stadium’s (AT&T Stadium) retractable roof.
However, fans looking to use public transportation to get to Dallas Stadium (AT&T Stadium) should keep in mind that charter buses from CentrePort Station will drop them a half mile walk away from the stadium.
Fans driving to the stadium should also plan to walk from their parking space to the stadium, which could take around 18 minutes.
