HOUSTON – Police say a man, who had a gun and was harassing customers at a restaurant in west Houston, was shot by responding officers after he allegedly pointed the gun at them.
The officer-involved shooting happened in the 14300 block of Westheimer Road, near Highway 6.
HPD Command Staff and PIO are en route to an officer involved shooting in the 14300 block of Westheimer Road.

HPD says the suspect was transported to a hospital. Police say the suspect is expected to survive.
No officers were injured in the incident.
