Dallas police identified Myron Henry, 42, as the man killed in a June 9 shooting in the 2000 block of North Masters Drive.
Officers responded to a shooting call around 7:50 p.m. and found two men struck by gunfire, according to the Dallas Police Department.
Henry died at the scene. Dallas Fire-Rescue transported the second victim to a hospital in stable condition.
Police said the preliminary investigation found that three unidentified suspects fired shots at the location, striking two men and several vehicles before fleeing.
Police continue to investigate the shooting under case number 083361-2026.
June Homicides Continue
The Masters Drive homicide came after Dallas police released updates in four homicide investigations from the first week of June, including three murder arrests and the identification of another victim, as previously reported by The Dallas Express.
Those cases stemmed from shootings reported June 1 and June 2 on Chesterfield Drive, Sylvan Avenue, CF Hawn Service Road, and Highcrest Drive.
Police identified the victims in those cases as Broderic King, 36; Issac Padilla, 50; Domnique Wrice, 42; and Trevan Aguinaga, 31.
Dallas police said they made arrests in the cases involving Highcrest Drive, CF Hawn Service Road, and Sylvan Avenue. The Chesterfield Drive investigation remained ongoing as of the prior police update.
Investigation Ongoing
Police have not announced any arrests in the Masters Drive case.
