Which countries are FC Dallas players representing at World Cup?

FC Dallas is sending a trio of players to show out for their country at the 2026 World Cup. One of them didn’t have to go very far at all.

Here’s the list of FC Dallas players who are suiting up at the World Cup and where they’ll be playing.

Musa, who got off to a blistering start for FC Dallas this season, will play for Croatia in Group L against England, Ghana and Panama. Croatia is stationed in Alexandria, Va., for the World Cup and will play its first group game vs. England on Wednesday.

Originally from Tabarre, Haiti, 25-year-old midfielder will play for Haiti in Group C against Brazil, Morocco and Scotland. Haiti plays its first group game on Saturday.

How convenient for Johansson: the 28-year-old defender didn’t even have to leave town to join up with his national squad. Johansson will play for Team Sweden, which is calling Frisco its home city for the next month. Johansson originally hails from Örnsköldsvik, Sweden, and will battle the Netherlands, Japan and Tunisia in Group F starting Sunday.

A handful of players who had spins through FCD will also take the pitch in the World Cup, all of whom play for Team USA.

Ricardo Pepi – United States: Originally from El Paso, Pepi spent four seasons with FC Dallas and now plays for PSV in the Netherlands.

Chris Richards – United States: Richards spent a short time with the FC Dallas youth academy before hitting on a tryout with Bayern Munich in Germany. He now plays for Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

Alejandro Zendejas – United States: The Mexican-American dual citizen played a season for FCD in 2015. He now plays for Club America.

Weston McKennie – United States: Born in Washington state but grew up in Little Elm. He played for FCD’s youth system for seven seasons. He now plays for Juventus of Serie A.
