EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — A man was taken into custody Friday afternoon after authorities say he pulled out a knife at an El Paso shopping mall.
Information is limited at the moment, but the El Paso Police Department has confirmed that a person was taken into custody after police received a report of a person with a knife at the Outlet Shoppes at El Paso.
EPPD said the incident happened at around 1:55 p.m. and luckily, no injuries were reported.

Even though police did not confirm details regarding the identity of the suspect, a viewer video shared on the popular social media account @therealfitfamelpaso shows the police presence at the Outlets and a man being handcuffed.

It is unclear what prompted the person to pull out a knife.
