LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Rain chances will pick up through today and into the overnight hours tonight as we move into Monday and the start of next week.
SUNDAY
Scattered showers and some storms are possible throughout the day-time hours today.
It’ll be a much more mild day today and Monday before the heat ramps up next week(Dylan Smith)
High temperatures will remain in the upper 70s and lower 80s depending on how much rain we see throughout the day.
TONIGHT
Rain will likely expand throughout a good chunk of the South Plains overnight. Not much in the way of strong/severe, but we could see a few rumbles of thunder/bolts of lightning in some of the heavier downpours.

EXTENDED WEATHER PATTERN
Rain chances will generally fade heading into Monday morning/midday, with some lingering showers possible for some Monday afternoon/evening.
