SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The San Antonio Police Department is investigating a wrong-way crash that killed multiple people just before dawn Sunday.
Investigators say it happened around 5:30 a.m. in the 13000 block of Southwest Loop 410. A call was made about a driver going the wrong way on the freeway, but before officers could locate the car there were calls coming in about a crash.
When first responders arrived, two cars were engulfed in flames and everyone in both vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene. The precise number of people killed is unknown at this time.
